Messages from iPhone to my Galaxy S5 come across wrong..

My friend has a iPhone 6 and when I send to them it appears to come from an email address not my mobile number. WHen they respond to that address the message is not able to be read (attachment(s) removed error), when she replies to my number they come through fine. Any way to fix this??

It is for any message. When I text to my friend, it shows it as coming from an email address [removal required by the ] and when she replies to that I get this error : [Attachment(s) text_0.txt removed] [Attachment(s) removed]. If she replies to that message it does not come across and I get thaterror, if she types in my cell number the message comes across fine.

That’s very helpful information, USArmyvet8487. I have another question to ask. Were you ever an iPhone owner yourself? If so, you may have developed an Apple ID to use with iMessage. Your friend may still have you listed on her phone with your iMessage profile instead of your mobile number.

Nope I have never had an iPhone. What is strange, this only happened when I got a new phone the other day when mine got broken. Same number, just that now the messages from this one person come across wrong. Its the strangest thing I have seen.
