My Galaxy S6 recently developed a problem. This started happening just a couple of days ago. It is extremely slow while using wifi, even though a speed test shows the same result as on my home PC. Just page loading, refreshing feeds, etc., all happen extremely slowly. Also, I don't get most notifications while on wifi: I'll leave wherever I am, and start driving, and when my phone drops off the wifi network I was on, a bunch of notifications suddenly come it. I tried doing a factory reset this morning, and it didn't seem to help, and in fact the restore from the cloud is taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R because the wifi is so slow!
PLEASE NOTE, this happens with ANY wifi, not just my home network. Home, work, coffee shop, you name it. So PLEASE don't ask "have you tried resetting/adjusting your router?" The problem is clearly on the phone 's end, because it happens on any wifi network!
