Out of my 15g of device space, the pre-installed apps take over 10g. I am having issues with not having enough, so I am constantly adjusting my apps. How can I get rid of pre-installed apps I do not use?
Excellent question, let's review options together. From your device settings, navigate to Storage. From Applications, you can Clear data, and Force stop, followed by Disable most apps in this section.
Another option, would be to purchase an SD card, and move all of your media to the card to clear device storage space. Yes, I do go to the manage apps and stop /disable them and clear data. It's
something I have to keep doing as they default to running anytime I do a
restart of the phone. I also bought a 30g SD card, few apps can be put
there. The very best I have been able to get is a little more than 2.5g out
of 16 that I bought with the phone.
