I reset my galaxy 6s edge to factory reset. It won't accept my user ID and password. What do I do!?
We want you to have a fully functioning device, KristenS. What is the user ID and password for? If the device has been factory reset, then it should be as if it came out of the box.

After turning it on, it starts set up wizard. Goes through phone
activation. I verify the phone number. Asks for samsung account. I typed in
my samsung user ID and password. Then it asks for wifi and a box comes up.
"Due to an abnormal reset, the selected WiFi network cannot be used.
Connect to a different WiFi network. I hit ok. Try network again. It
connects. Hit next. Then asks me to sign in again. Enter user ID and
password again. This time it says "this phone is locked because of an
abnormal factory reset. Sign in to the Samsung account that was previously
used on this phone to confirm that it belongs to you." And message at
bottom says, "Processing failed."
I'm out of the country. Would that make any difference?

Thanks so much for clarifying. Yes that would make a difference. Our devices are designed to work on our network. It may not recognize a foreign Wifi signal or network if not first activated on our network.JoeL_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the "Correct Answer" button under my response.
