Please help. I have a Galaxy S5 and I just can't keep my battery from draining at a ridiculous rate! I have 2 batteries (1 is newer, 1 is the original battery both are Samsung batteries) and it doesn't make a difference which battery I use. I've had this phone only 1 year, 3 months and it was new when I purchased it.
This morning at 2 am, my phone was at 100% so I took it off the charger. By 6:45 am, my battery was at 23%! Seriously? All my apps were turned off, as was the screen etc.
I took screenshots of the battery drain and I can't figure out what is going on. I also noticed that my home wi-fi connection keeps switching between my regular and my 5G. Both wi-fi channels are working fine for other connected devices (laptop/tablet, etc) so I can't figure out why my phone keeps switching from one to another constantly.
I did a complete factory reset back in October because I was having battery drain issues, although nowhere nearly as bad as I have now. It helped for a few weeks and after some update it was back in the toilet again. I really don't want to do another factory reset because it takes a lot of time and it didn't really help me long term. I'm seriously at the point where I'm going to just change phones/carriers. This is insane. I could really use some help with this issue.
Thanks...
I
