I am not able to make video calls. There is not a video icon next to the contacts. I need assistance getting the default video calling feature to work.
Both you and the person you are calling need to have Advanced Calling installed and active on your Verizon phones.
NateZfrom83,
SuzyQ's information is correct. Do you and the person you intend to call both have Verizon Wireless Advanced Calling capable devices with a 4G connection? Please also make sure both devices have Advanced Calling enabled under Settings and let us know.

Mine won't work even with that
I'm having the same issue. I have a galaxy S5, as does my sister. Her phone is set up for video calls. When I try to activate mine it says congratulations, restart your phone in 5 minutes & you'll be ready to make video calls... Or something like that... But I've restarted & nothing happens... Reactivated then restarted about 5x now & nothing is happening. I'm still not able to video call my sister's S5. What am I doing wrong?
I appreciate all that you've done! Lets ensure everything is running smoothly for you. After you activate Advanced Calling, have you been able to activate Video Calling? Once Advanced Calling is activated you'll head into Settings > Advanced Calling > Advanced Calling ( Turn on/off HD and Video Call ) > Video Calling ( enabling green check mark ) YosefT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response.
