How do I fix this?

This began a few days ago. I had changed my phone number & it has been doing this ever since. It happens anytime I try to call anyone, weather in my contacts list or not. I make the call & as soon as the person picks up & says hello it disconnects the call.
I did notice in my Settings/about phone/status/ Mobile Network State is says 'disconnected'. I don't know if maybe that has something to do with it or not. I did try resetting the phone & that didn't work.

I have a Droid Mini. I did the standard reset that shows on your website under my phone models troubleshooting. Just never mind. I think I will do a full factory reset & see if that helps. I guess I never should have changed my phone number to a local number. Everything was fine until I did that.
