Why does my device ger so hot?

I just received my galaxy s7 edge. I just finished charging the phone and activating it and it's already getting hot, especially around the edges. Is this normal? I thought these phones had some liquid cooling feature to keep the phones from getting hot.

Also, is there anyway to reduce the keypad sensitivity?

I actually read that when using fast charging, the phone does get hot. The first time I used fast charging on my S7, it got very warm. It has been fine since for me.
