Why is alarm widget not working correctly on my s7?

I added the alarm widget on my Galaxy S7 and have checked all my sound functions but my alarms don't go off. It is almost as the notification in on mute but that is not the case. Any suggestions?

Make sure when you set your alarm time you save it, otherwise it wont work. If it is saved you will have a small icon on your home screen with the alarm time beside it. I just tested the alarm on my S7 with no special sound settings and it worked great.

Mgonzalez, having a dependable alarm clock is a priority. Let's get to the bottom of this. What happens when you set a time through your phone's stock alarm (not the widget)? Has the widget worked before?
