Why am I not receiving text messages on S7?? I upgraded from a S5 which had no problems earlier today. Im able to send text messages but unable to receive them. Powered down the phone multiple times with no luck.
We'll get you texting in no time, CP23! To begin, can you test calling as well? Are you able to make & receive phone calls? Also, is your old phone powered off? Please provide a few more details, so we can help to pinpoint the issue.

Yes, I'm able to make and receive phone calls. My old phone is powered off as well. I am receiving MMS messages but not SMS.
Anything as to why I'm not receiving SMS text messages?
Part of the port isn't complete. I would suggest having customer service reset your text message feature from their end.
Congratulations on upgrading to the Galaxy S7, now let's see wha tis going on with your text messages. Are you using the messaging app that came on the phone? Did you doenload a different to app? Can you send SMS?
