Not the lens, pictures real grainy
I am guessing you have to adjust your camera settings. You probably have the resolution (picture size) set low, change it to 16 mp, change the ISO to automatic. The picture should not be grainy then. The picture should then be fine. The picture will be grainier when it is low light (dark) and not grainy when the light is normal or outside. Then use the flash. For normal lighting the picture should be good. There are other picture settings that effect the picture.
