I have a pair of Samsung Galaxy phones, a S5 and a S3. I delayed the forced upgrade from the standard Basic Voice Mail to the free Basic Visual Voice Mail. If I remember accurately, my services were forced to upgrade back on the 26th. I just made repeated attempts to access my voice messages, which is vital as I am out of work and relying on my voice mail for job hunting purposes. I finally gave up after trying to access my messages for the past two hours. I am also unable to complete the upgrade to the Visual Voice Mail as I keep getting prompted to agree to a $2.99 monthly fee for Premium Visual Voice Mail. I don't want either one!! I know all about the option to call my voice mail from another phone, but I don't have another phone to call from VZ, why do you keep forcing your long term, faithful customers to endure your financial [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] tactics? Why are you doing everything in your power to drive customers like my wife and I away by hiking up rates for services that you don't want to honor any more? Why are you consistently trying to force customers who are out of contract back into contracts that no longer provide the services or features that are needed and wanted? I have endured your selfish decision to raise the monthly rate for my grandfathered Unlimited Data plan for both phones from $29.99 up to $49.99 per line. I have been out of contract for years, primarily due to the fact that your current plans are [removed] , offering less functionality and fewer features while charging more for the overall package. Now I get to choke on your Basic Visual Voice Mail? Does anyone out there know how I can access my messages from my phone without getting blocked by this [removed] Visual Voice Mail downgrade?!
