Every since I did a update on my phone it shuts down 3 to 4 times a day. I was told by Verizon store guys that they are aware of this problem. Is anyone else having this issue? Any fixes Samsung or Verizon?
This is definitely not normal. You deserve the best experience from such a great phone. We're here to help. How long ago did you do the update? Does it shut down when you are doing a specific task or function or is it random?JosephTT_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the 'Correct Answer' button under my response. Cocobutter@123, we want you to be able to enjoy your Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge after the update. Let’s look more into this together. Is it shutting down at random times or during an action/application? Any application installed prior to the update? Please clear the cache partition and let us know how it works. 1. Turn phone off completely.2. To start the phone, press the following keys simultaneously: Power Button, Home Button, Volume +3. When the first logo can be seen on the screen, release the power button, but hold the Home button and the Volume + button pressed4. It now appears on the screen of your phone, a small menu. Navigate with the Volume + and Volume - keys. An entry is selected by the Power Button5. Select in this menu now "Wipe Cache Partition".6. After you have selected the entry the Wipe cache is flushed. This takes a few seconds. Then it automatically returns to the small menu.7. Now select the top entry with "Reboot Now"ZangY_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. The phone shuts off every night 2 or 3 times. I did the update April 6 that
was sent to me from Samsung. I was told by Verizon store that Samsung is
aware of this problem. I called Samsung to ask for a fix , no reply. Should
I get a new phone or can this problem be fixed?

That would be very frustrating CoCobutter. I'm not showing any known issues with that device. Is there any liquid damage? Any changes after an app ws downloaded? Did wiping the cache help?JoeL_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the "Correct Answer" button under my response. I appreciate this additional information. Let’s continue to look into your device concerns with it shutting off every night as much as it does. WE would want to try some things first to see if the device can be fixed before suggesting it to be replaced under warranty if it still applies. Have you tested the device in safe mode? If not, here’s a link to the steps http://tiny.cc/3u77ay and please locate the third menu from the top and post back with the results.
