Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Free Gear S2 Promo

I purchased the Edge S7 online and chose pick up in store. I got the phone but have a question regarding the promotion receipt requirement. On the Samsung Promotion website it says:

"Please make sure your receipt clearly shows the Qualifying Purchase or lease, date of purchase or lease, and your full name. Note: Receipt must include a printed date of purchase or lease within the Purchase Period and the name on your receipt must match the name on the Offer Claim Form."

The receipt I got from the store when picking up my online order, it doesn't have my name on the receipt. Also when I go to the website, and look under orders, it is showing the order status of "processing" still but the Status of the item below says "Picked up in Store". Also it says it is a "Retail Store Order" even though I purchased online. This was purchased on Friday so I don't know why it is still marked as processing.

What do I need to do to submit my receipt for the free Gear S2? Is this going to work since 1) the receipt doesn't have a name on it and 2) It shows as a retail store order instead of an online order?

They just added more watches. From a VZW rep on another thread "We heard your concern and I am happy to announce that the "Free Gear S2" offer is back. The Web Page is now updated to reflect the Gear S2 as available for redemption for our customers who purchase a new Galaxy S7 Online or through our sales professionals over the phone during the promotional period. Please make sure you visit Samsung's website once you receive your device to enter"

This is incorrect. I just registered for the watch a little while ago. There was apparently some glitch with Samsung's promo site.

Great...Saw that the were sold out of S2's and settle for the VR instead. Now Samsung says they will not let me change the order.

how did they solve this i'm having the same problem and both samsung and verizon have been extremely unhelpful.

I just uploaded the receipt as is without my name. I checked the status last night and it said accepted.

their S7-MayPromo was a scam. Many applied but all were rejected. All the [removed] you have to scan in and send for [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] . Only to be stated promo was over. Contacted sales rep in Vineland, NJ who gave me the promo and sale (Buy one S7 and get 2nd) He gave me another promo code - still no go. He says don't know whats wrong. A pain in the neck. thinking about taking all back and cancel and go somewhere else like ATT. Fed UP.....

DrJohnJ, we want to change the way that you think so that you can stay with us for many more years. The buy one, get one free offer for the Samsung S7 was an awesome deal that was avalable from 3/18/16 - 4/13/16. Did you upgrade the device on an exisiting line on your account and add a new line of service as required? Were both device purchased with a device payment plan?

ROD43 - The promotions Samsung offers are great. I have taken a look at the current Samsung promotions and see that the one that is currently available is the buy any eligible Samsung device and get a free Samsung Gear VR. This promotion ends on 6/26/16. May I ask when you saw the Samsung buy one get one commercial and what channel it was on

Your not alone, I pre-ordered my S7E in Feb. Sent all my paperwork back before March 15, and was still denied my S2 as promised for the pre-release. When my claim was submitted and still now they say my wifi-mac address don't match..... it's was and still is the same thing it was when I received the phone from Verizon the day after release. I would of kept the S6 instead of spending another 750.00, but I guess you get what Verizon wants you to, if they want you to. I think a new carrier without empty promises will be in order in February.
