I have a Galaxy S6 Edge and recently started using Snapchat. Each time I use the app my phone gets extremely hot and the warning notification pops up. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?
That's certainly a great question, jhull504. While I do wish there would be a setting change, the heating of the device is expected particularly when using while charging. You find that to be the case when not using apps like Snapchat as well. For safety reasons, I do recommend avoiding using the device where the heat can make it uncomfortable to the touch.

We are here to help, jhull504. The application Snapchat requires frequent use of the camera. This can cause the device to get hot. Just normal use of the camera can cause the device to get hot. Have you noticed if your battery drains more quickly also? Are you using the device while it is plugged in?RobertH_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the "Correct Answer" button under my response.
