I'm trying to stop my text messages from just popping up on my screen to getting a notification instead. I'm using Verizon Message Plus with my Samsung S7 phone.

I'm using a Samsung S7 Model # SM-G930V, Version 6.0.1

Go to setting. Then go to lock screen and security. Then turn off notifications on locked screen.

Okay I tried that. It still alerts my phone and turns it on to my lock screen, but I am getting the flashing notification now that I have a text message. Thank you so much for trying to help.

Any other suggestions?

In message plus, Tap the 3 bars in the upper left, Tap settings, then uncheck "enable popup"
