Connectivity issues since update

Ever since the Samsung Galaxy S6 update, I have had significant issues with my phone. Apps are not syncing and I receive "no internet connection" notifications frequently when I am on known WiFi networks and when my phone is using mobile data (with 4g indicated and full bars of service.) I have tried restarting my phone, turning off WiFi, and I cleared the partition cache as well as app caches. None have had any lasting impact on performance. This is becoming very frustrating.

Make sure your wireless router has the latest drivers. If the router does not have the latest driver that could cause connectivity problems

It happens whether or not I'm on WiFi or using mobile data

Getting your phone back on the yellow brick road is the goal. Is it just certain apps that are not sycning? Besides, the software update any other changes on your phone?

It is more than one app, and its intermittent.

Several apps, specifically ones that need to sync data, are not syncing. Facebook doesn't refresh and no matter what I do, there seems to be no difference. The apps will sometimes work but it is very infrequent and intermittent. The battery life on my phone is also significantly lessened since the update as well. I don't really want to do a factory reset unless that's absolutely necessary.

I have also had major issues my field is in networking. Since update apps are not refreshing unless I force close them and I can't even use my wireless charger with my phone powered off. The Samsung wireless charger gave me the green indicator that it had completed charging and when I powered on my phone it showed 57% which is what it had when I turned it off. It is definitely an issue with the latest software I have a galaxy s6 edge

This certainly is not how your device should be acting after an update. My concern is that this is effecting more than one app. Have you checked to make sure all of your apps are up to date in the Play Store?

That's one of the first things I tried. I made sure all my apps were up to date, shutdown and restarted my phone, and then wiped the partition cache. None of that had any effect.

Thank you so much for completing steps to getting your device working properly. It is important to me that we get your device back working at it's best. With new software updates,there are those one-offs where it can cause small intermittent issues. The best fix for this is a factory reset. Before completing the reset, I do recommend backing up your information through Verizon Cloud http://vz.to/1MYG2RQ or your Samsung account.
