Battery drain...android sytem percentage shows using battery life the most

Why is "Andriod System" usage so high and draining my battery. Im a Flight Attendant, so my phone is mostly in airplane mode.i unplug it at the hotel fully charged and within 4hrs my phone drops to 65% in battery life. What gives? If i cant have a working phone then Verizon needs to allow me to upgrade. My work gives us a IPhone 6 plus and that last me all day long in battery life. If i have to buy a new phone so i can have a reliable phone, will Verizon allow me to upgrade early??

Having a fully charged battery is a top priority for anyone. I can imagine it is hard when you are not using your phone frequently. How long have you been having issues with your battery drain? Are you in the current software of the device? If not, we encourage you to update your software. This will help with all applications are working with the operating system.
