What should I do if my device is frozen?

Galaxy s5 is locked and will not turn off or allow slide screen or allow access. How do I turn it off or on?

Try removing the battery for a minute or so. This will effectively shut down the phone. Once you reinstall the battery, reboot the phone.

You can also try holding the power button for up to 30 seconds to see if that gets the phone to shut off.
