If I bought a samsung 7 today, outside of a verizon styore, at a terrific price elsewhere, how long could I hold it before activating it?
Did you sign a contract? If you did and you didn't agree with the terms(activation is compliance with the terms) then there is a time limit to activate. I believe it's 30 days. It may have changed nowadays. I am unsure they make you agree with the terms upon purchasing now instead of waiting for activation (online ordering still waits due to the fact of shipping times). Let me scour the FAQ and see if I can find the right one.
As long as you want. Hold it till you hand goes numb, then switch hands.
Thanks tidbit...muchly appreciated
Snn5...you don't have much to offer
Sorry, was thinking literally.

I can't find it, but I remember back when I had a BOGO I kept my iphone in the box and when I looked that the paperwork that came in the box said it had to be activated within 30 days, but that was on online order. I think if you went to a valid verizon store then you had to sign the receipt which should have ahd the agreement you have to agree with. If you have a copy of that receipt you should see it and that you did agree with it.
