I really want to like verizon messages but I dint receive notification in the status bar even though that box is checked in settings and I'd like to see notification in the lock screen but the only option is popup and I don't like popup. Any fixes?
Oh wow! I figured out that my problem was in the application manager for that app (and others). Notifications were blocked. I hope you figure out your problem.
I'm having the same problem too. I have the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge, and I stopped receiving Message+ notifications in my status bar a few days ago. I've gone through the settings within Message+, and the Application Manager, Notifications, Accessibility, Sounds, Display, and Advance Features folders under the Phone Settings, and all notification settings for Message+ are set to display notifications. It's really frustrating.
