I have a galaxy S6 Edge, and throughout the day it has reset 4 times already. Seems to be happening more frequently. I have no interaction with the phone other than listening to music and it just shuts off and restarts...
We definitely want your device working properly, pbmchl68. Let’s take a closer look into this and make sure we get it corrected. Have you completed any troubleshooting since the update? Does the phone reset when using any certain apps?

Same restart issue here, several per day. More and more frequently. I did a power off and system update start and wiped the cache partition. That worked for a while but the restarts come back after a few hours.

I appreciate the steps that you have taken in troubleshooting so far. Software updates are supposed to enhance the phone, not cause troubles. Let’s keep digging here. Please see this link http://vz.to/22tCE8x to follow the steps of putting your phone in Safe Mode. Safe Mode disables all 3rd party apps. Occasionally there can be 3rdp party apps that cause this “glitch” after a software update. While in Safe Mode, you will be able to use the phone normally for talk, text & data. We recommend to keep the phone in Safe Mode for a full 24 hours. If the phone does not restart while in Safe Mode, we will then know it is an app that is causing this.
