After software update the Marshmallow cannot adjust edge tab to show on only home and lock screens...now it's on every screen and it's soooo annoying. I like the other settings better don't want the tab in all apps and screens

Updates should enhance your phone and make it easier to navigate your screens. With the updated software it makes it easier to get to your edge screen with out navigating to the home screen. Please refer to your user manual for additional settings support and tips. Before the update there was an option to have it on every screen or only
on the home and lock screens. Now the tab is on every screen and will also
be in the screenshots it's annoying I would like the option back that's
all. I use the edge tabs but don't need it everywhere

TLyn, I know it can be frustrating when updates change your options. I have the same phone. One thing you can do is to open the edge screen, select the Settings wheel, tap the Edge panel handle settings at the very bottom of the screen, and move the Transparency bar down as far as you'd like.
It may not be the same, but it is so transparent that I forget it's there until I need it.
