When i connect my samsung galaxy s7 edge to my computer via USB nothing happens. PC does not seem to be aware it is connected. What do I need to do?
Did you pull down your notification shade and change the USB mode from Charging Only to Transferring Media Files?
Forgot to mention that with the Marshmallow operating system, the default USB mode is Charging Only. So every time you plug the phone in, you'll need to change the mode via the Notification section (not the Quick Settings) of your notification panel. You'll see two notifications: one that says Charging, and the other says Connected for Charging. Tap the one that says Connected for Charging to change the USB mode.
Hi, okay, maybe I'm being dense, but I don't see a USB Connection Mode... even did a search and all it comes up with is USB tethering and Connect to a vehicle via USB...?.... I have a Quick connect, but that seems only want to deal with Bluetooth...?...
