S5 transfeer problems

I'm trying to save some photos from my s5 to my computer. I've read that the s5 needs to be in media transfer mode but the problem is that my screen is broken and does not turn on, is there another way to make my phone be recognized as a media storage device?

Pictures are saved for memories and a keep sake for shared moments. I know how important that is. Due to the screen being broken you would not be able to change this mode. Did you have the Verizon cloud or any backup service installed on your phone? If so, you may have this information stored somewhere else.
