I don't see my Galaxy S7 when I attach it via USP to my computer (Windows 10); tried opening Explorer, read several things online, not sure what to do. I just want to transfer photos from my phone to my PC. Thanks
when you connect the usb cable do you get a usb notification??

Install the latest version of Smart Switch on your PC. That will make sure you have the right driver.
Connect your phone to your PC.
Slide your phone's screen down to check the notifications. You'll see one that says "connected for charging". Tap on that, and change the setting to "Transfer media files". (Your phone will still charge.)
If there's a way to change this behavior, I haven't found it yet. My guess is that this is a protection against juice-jacking.
