Not Getting Email Notifications

Hi,

I know there has been another thread about this (see below) but..........

I get a notification tone for my text messages but I am not getting any notifications for my aol, gmail, or two pop accounts?

Anyone have any ideas?

To receive notifications for your email you will need to do as follows:

Go to messaging
Choose your email account
Hit the menu button
Choose Email Settings
Choose Notifications
Choose the appropriate notifications
Then exit to home screen

Once you do this you should be able to receive all notifications the same. Hope this helps.

I'm so glad I saw this post! I was having the opposite problem - how to shut off getting a notice every time I got a new email in my regular home e-mail account! I simply reversed the instructions here, and voila!! No more notices draining my battery! Thank you, Verizon Droid X Forum!
