Keep getting contacts not working when I go to make a call and the keyboards closes. But I can make calls if I go into my contacts list or from my text messages. How fo I fix this
Have you tried rebooting the device? Or clearing the cache from the Phone app? That would be done by going into settings and then apps or app manager.
I've done all of that. It was working earlier in the day and then just stopped.

We would never want our customers to have issues like this. What were you doing on your phone prior to this happening? Has there been any recent changes on your phone?

No recent changes. No new updates. I had made a phone call on it 5 mins
before it stopped making outgoing calls. I went into setting and cleared
the cache , and data and forced it to atop. Then I restarted the phone. It
didn't help. I just keeps telling me contacts not working when I open the
phone app.
