Recently a list of newly added contacts appeared on the Contacts home screen. It is above my Favorites which I find very annoying. How can I remove that list of new contacts?
I also noticed that recently; maybe one of the 'features' of the Marshmallow update? Once I closed out Contacts and opened it again, they were gone.
How did you "close out of Contacts"? I have powered off, restarted... still there.
Whoa! When I just looked they were gone!! Hope that is permanent

I probably should have said "backed out". While in the Contacts app, I tapped the Back button (to the right of the Home button) and when I opened Contacts back up, they were gone.
