Next Radio app does not work on my Galaxy S7

Recent email from Next Radio says Verizon has activated the FM radio chip in the Galaxy S7 and I can now download and use the Next Radio app on that phone. After download and installation I get notification that there is missing software and cannot use the app. Please advise.
