I got a new phone and I was able to get my contact up to the Verizon cloud but I can not seem to be able to get my photos from my old Samsung SCH-u730 up to the cloud. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
chicks2001 my photos are my memories. We certainly want you to be able to protect yours. That device is not compatible with the Verizon Cloud. You can use an SD card to save the pictures and then transfer the pictures from the card to a PC. Here is a link that will help: http://vz.to/2ihu1t3

Use Google Photos to backup the old phone and sync to the new phone.
