I have a Galaxy S6 I just got a Samsung wireless charger put my phone on the charger and nothing happens do I need to go into the settings to do anything thanks
It was a bad charger returned it the new charger works fine thanks for the help
TRY ENABLING FAST WIRELESS CHARGING IN BATTERY SETTINGS, OR TURN ON NFC, AND OR UNPLUG POWER TO CHARGER, PLUG BACK IN, THEN LAY DEVICE SIDEWAYS IF ITS IN STAND
Tried it did not work thanks
It should just be a matter of plugging in the charger, placing the phone on it, and charging commences when you see the blue light on the charger. As noted earlier, sometimes you have to play with the placement of the phone a bit. Have you tried a different charging cable? It could be that the charger or charging cable are defective.
DiGravio1,
Thanks for reaching out to the community member forums. We're glad you're here. Sorry to hear about trouble getting the phone to charge wirelessly. The feature is built into your phone, so no special covers or settings are needed. Were you able to try the recommendations of moving the phone around on the pad? Usually, there's a sweet-spot that you need to get the phone into and then it should start charging. Let us know if you've been able to get any results that way. If not, please also reply with the model of wireless charger you purchased.
