Why do my pictures look different on my device than my computer?

IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED. Am i to trust what i see on device with photos vs on pc. WHY they look great on device, and so not on pc. which do i trust and is it cheating if i edit photos online. or do others do the same. im trying to get justice on quality for the so called best camera.

Because they use single lenses these cameras only have digital zoom. Try to avoid zoom, if you can. Experiment with this. Take a photo with no zoom. Then Zoom in 4 times or so, and take another photo. Compare the photo 2 with photo 1 enlarged the same as photo 2. Most the time photo 1 will be clearer. When you zoom in and take a pic, any camera movement is amplified. This actually goes for any camera.

Better lighting always means better photos.

Of course photos look better on the phone because the image is condensed. On your PC everything is 8x10, or bigger. So any flaws really show up. And the technology behind different displays makes a difference. It depends on how your pics will be viewed, but you may have to do some editing. Professional photos look good because of the time the photographer takes to make them look that way. Even a $10.000 camera can take a bad photo. Good pics don't just happen, they are made. Professionals take dozens and dozens of pics of a subject and hope they get something they can use.
