Why Do I Have Such A High GB Usage?

Our new phone is eating up GB almost 3 times as many as our Iphone and the way we use our phone has not changed. How can we get it to stop?

How can we find out and shut down what is running? We have talked to Verizon 2 times and had it into the Verizon store. They can't seem to reslve the problem.
