Every since the last two updates...my battery life is terrible. I even purchased a brand new, Samsung battery, thinking that was the issue. Help!
I have the same issue. Not so much with previous update, but latest for sure. Even no apps running battery will die. It gets hot now. Never use to.
s5's are 2+ years old, if you're still on the original battery it's to be expected.

Please use the steps at https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-98116/ to review the phone’s battery manager to see if there’s a particular application that is consuming your charge and share your top few appliocations listed when you notice a fast drain.
