What happen to the Studio app? Says it has unfortunately stopped

There has always been an app on my phone that was called STUDIO. You were able to edit and do neat things with pics from your gallery. However, whenever I click on Studio it comes up with : "Unfortunately, Studio has stopped". What happened to it? Was this a Verizon App or a Samsung App? I talked with a Samsung rep at a kiosk and they said they had no idea, why it would stop. Has anyone else used this app, and do you know why it's not working, or HOW TO fix it?

Would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you

Getting an error is never a fun thing to deal with. Studio is a Google app (camera/gallery). To get rid of this error you may try:

->From main screen click Apps
->Settings
->Applications
->Application manager
->All (can drag finger along top from right to left until all is showing)
->Find Studio App (will be in alphabetical order)
->Force Stop
->& then Clear Data & Clear Cache
->Power phone Off & On

See if you notice a difference once you power up. If not, go back into the Application Manager & the Studio app. This time though see if you can "Uninstall updates" & then power cycle.
