helpp..question about contract & droid

im not up for my upgrade yet..and i really want the droid but i keep hearing its like 600$ without a new contract..so my contract isnt up til april 2011..and my new every 2 isnt till december 2010..if i renew my contract..can i get the droid for the 199$ price..or will i not beable to do that :[ pleaseeeeeeeee help

I have a friend who's contract is up the end of November and they told him he had to wait.

Check out this thread... it might help you find a way to upgrade at the 1 year price for the phone (I've heard $259 with rebate)

In April you will be able to Upgrade and start a new contract unless you are a secondary account. Secondary accounts have to wait out the 20 months to upgrade primary accounts can upgrade early after 12 months. Otherwise it is $559 or $500 at Walmart.
