On my LG Extravert 2, what does lock/unlock do for text messages?

We always want you to understand full how your device works. The "Lock/Unlock" feature with your text messages will allow you to "lock" a message if you needed to. This would prevent others from being able to view the message unless you unlock it. I cannot say this is something that is used very often.
