Incoming Yahoo mail going directly to trash folder

Accidentally opened virus from "Yahoo Mail" about a month ago on my Android Turbo. Changed my password on my desktop which works and reinstalled Yahoo mail from Google Playstore but all incoming mail goes to trash folder. I'm using Firefox web browser. Yahoo help says to go into settings and change/delete filters. Is there filters for this phone.
