Phone charge used to last 2 or more days, now all of a sudden (3 days at least), my battery drains befor the day is out. Today it drained before 1pm. What the heck is going on??
What is the battery stats saying is using the battery?
Hearing that your battery is not lasting through the day anymore is definitely concerning, howdypez. Let's get this figured out. Was there any changes to your device recently? Any change in how you use your device?

no changes to the device, no new apps, nothing that I know of!

Google Play Services 20% [frustrating because I rarely access Google Play]
Wifi 15%
idle 11%
Android OS 9%
Android System 9%
Cell standby 6%
GroupMe 2% [deleting that one as it's also using data - even though I haven't used the app in forever].
