My calendar on my Samsung Galaxy isn't working correctly

On my old Samsung galaxy my calendar worked fine. Now on new one only one sentence of that task shiws and not beyond. Thus the whole task on that time on the calendar shows rather than everything. Do you know how to fix it? The! I appreciate it!
