My S7 volume down button doesn't work

My S7 (non-edge) volume down button doesn't work. I've tried several restart. Can't soft reset since the vol down button doesn't work. I think it might be a hardware issue. Any way to confirm it's a hardware problem? Any easy fix, or am I getting a new phone?

The vol down button is working again. I wiggled the button up/down and side/side while pushing the button. Suddenly, it works every time again.
