Samsung 6s battery won't hold charge

My charger mon my phone broke so I had to replace it with a new one. Went to the Verizon store spent 32.00 on a new charger and it keeps saying I have to put in the charger I got with the phone and that it is charging slowly. Last night I plugged in my phone to charge and when I woke up this morning I was only at 31% charge. What is going on?

We know important it is to have a fully functioning device. Have you check the port on your phone to make sure that it hasn't been damaged or if there is anything in the charging port? We also suggest that you run the Device Health Check to see if there are other issues going on.
