How do I transfer a text conversation from my device to my computer?

I would like to transfer a conversation (text messages) from my Galaxy phone to computer.

I thought the phone instructions said this was possible, but I can't find the directions.

How do I do this? This is an entire text conversation I need to put onto a hard copy. Computer to printer I hope.

Cananyone help?

Use this application to export the messages to a xml file (which is printable). You can send the file to your computer and print it there. SMS Backup & Restore - Android Apps on Google Play

Or you can use another SMS Backup application available in the Play Store.
