How Do I Transfer Music From Media Player 10 To Galaxy S7 Edge?

• I have tried to do this, which was easier a few years ago. Nothing suggested works for me now- I cannot see the USB icon on my phone. Is there something basic I might be doing wrong?

When you pull down the notification shade on the phone, do you not see the USB connection type set as charging only? If you do, change it to File Transfer.
