3 weeks later, no return box sent and VZ said they would charge me in 10 days

I just received a text telling me that if I don't return the two Note 7s on my family plan in 10 days, I will be charged over a thousand dollars. We have new phones but have not received the boxes to return our Note 7 phones. I have been waiting for 3 weeks and still no boxes have shown up. Verizon customer service just tells me that the boxes are "on the way" and there's been a delay. I refuse to be charged for two phones that I have been trying to get rid of. Please advise.

There better not be a charge for this phone beyond the initially agreed upon monthly payment plan. I did not agree to purchase a phone at full price. I purchased a 24 month payment plan with an annual upgrade option. I see a charge on my account for the full price of a single phone and consider my account closed. Then I will consult an attorney. I don't mind paying, as agreed in my contract but there is no way that are sticking me with the full bill on this phone.

Verizon are lying to their Customers because Verizon has no idea when or from where those return Box coming or deliver?

If I got a text like that because they didn't send the boxes out to me either Samsung or Verizon and then charge me for these 2 firecrackers I would definitely have to see what options I have open to me

I see 3 likely outcomes trying to keep this disaster of a phone:

1) You will get charged the full amount of the phone, due at once, and the phone will be disabled if you don't return it.

2) The phone will be disabled, and the debt written off, but you lost your chance at getting any money you put in back

3) You continue to use the phone, something bad happens, even if it is not directly caused by the phone. Opposing counsel figures you are using a banned and dangerous phone and pins everything on you. The jury agrees unanimously. You lose everything just so you could keep a silly banned phone, which they take away from you on your way to jail.

#3 is tongue in cheek if people don't catch that

Samsung is sending out the boxes for the Note 7 phones. There are measures in place to make sure you do not get charged. Had a 3 email conversation with Ralph_VZW and after I sent my phone number and pin, heard nothing. I have one demand at this point that will satisfy me regarding a replacement phone. Give me the annual upgrade option that the note 7 had on another Android device. Im not getting stuck with a 2 year plan on a 2nd choice replacement phone. I upgraded my last phone for the Note 7. I wasnt randomly shopping and weighing my options. I went into Verizon that day for one thing. I walked past everything else in the store for the Note 7. They didnt interest me. To make me settle for one of those lesser choices now, AND bind me to a 2 year plan/payoff is ridiculous.
