Why doesn't my computer recognize my Note 4?

After last system upgrade my PC recognizes the Note 4 but I cannot access any of the directories on the phone.

With the Marshmallow update, the default USB mode is charging only. Pull down the notification shade, tap where it says USB Charging, and change it to File Transfer.
