Galaxy S7 Email app subfolders not showing emails. I have them syncing with the main email app
What email app do you use on your computer? You should be able to use the same one on your phone.
I use Gmail without problem.
I am I am using the Samsung email app and I have Hotmail
Do you have the Hotmail account setup as a POP3 account or as an Exchange type account?
As you may know, hotmail is now Outlook.com. Is that what you used to set up the Samsung app?
One can use the Outlook application, but it isn't always necessary as the built-in email application can be sufficient for some people.
Or, from a browser on your phone,
1. You can type in the address bar of your browser “https://www.hotmail.com" or "https://outlook.com". You will be directed to the Microsoft’s log-in page "https://login.live.com". Do not worry about it. it helps you to access all Microsoft services with a single login.
2. Enter your Hotmail email address or phone number into the "Email or Phone" position(upper box). Email should end with “@hotmail.com”.
Once you are in and everything works, from the browser menu, you should be able to save your email main page as a shortcut on your phone. Forget apps, forget pop 3.
Let’s get to the bottom of this and find a solution, Sgt4. When did this start happening? Have you ever been able to see these emails on your S7 previously? Does the same issue duplicate if you sign into your email account via a different device/computer? Keep us posted.
