Bluetooth Pairing Drops

Have had the S7 Edge since April. Have had problems on and off with my vehicle (Volvo) losing the Bluetooth connection with the S7. Have gone as long as 2-3 weeks without issues but now drops only after a few minutes. Have tried Force Stop command, clearing networks, turning Bluetooth on/off, clearing cache, etc. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

One of the first steps to complete when having this issue is to remove the vehicle from your device and then re-pair it once more to see if it maintains a connection. Since your phone has never kept a consistent connection with your device, have you checked the Volvo website to ensure your Bluetooth firmware in your vehicle is up to date? This could also be the cause and would be the next best step if the removal and re-adding of your vehicle to your phone yields the same results. It is customary for them (or the Bluetooth service they use) to update their Bluetooth systems in order to keep them compatible with newer phones and software versions. For example, my vehicle usually has a Bluetooth update each year and I can take it right into the dealership and within a few minutes they will have my system updated to ensure I'm able to stay connected with any of my phones. This will be standard for any Bluetooth system as I've also had to go to the Bose website to update my Soundlink (1st generation) speaker when it didn't work with my Turbo 2 that had a newer Bluetooth version.
