How can I get my sync turned on in my cloud?
Sync? What are you referencing to? What are you trying to do?
Are you trying to backup your contact list, pictures/videos etc to the Verizon Cloud by using the app?
PLEASE someone tell me what is syncing?? when I update a document does it automatically update on the cloud or do i have to sync??

In order to check what is being backed up from the Cloud Application select the upper left Menu > Settings > What to Back Up to see what is already syncing.

Sync, in this case, could be understood to mean uploading to the "cloud". There are various apps that do this, including Verizon Wireless's cloud app, Microsoft's One Drive and Apple's iCloud.
You can manually upload assorted files, logs, pictures and documents to the "cloud" manually, or, configure the app's settings to upload content automatically.
If you update a document that is stored in your phone, you would have to manually upload it to the "cloud", or, wait for the app to do it automatically.
If you take pictures with your device, you would need to manually upload them to the "cloud", or, wait for the app to do it automatically.
